Watford Relegated From The English Premier League

Watford's relegation from the Premier League has been confirmed after a 1-0 defeat to Crystal Palace.

The Hornets' feat had been clear for some time but it was made official through Wilfried Zaha's penalty on Saturday.

Hassane Kamara was penalised for a handball inside the box and the Palace talisman made no mistake from the spot. Kamara was then sent off with 20 minutes left to play, making Watford's task even more difficult.

The result means that Roy Hodgson is sent down by his former employers, much like the coach of the other relegated club, Dean Smith of Norwich, was relegated by Aston Villa.
