A mass burial has been conducted for eight victims of Benue attacks by herdsmen on villages in Kwande Local Government Area of the state.
It was gathered that a church service was held for the departed souls at St Michael Catholic Church Jato Aka. They will be buried this morning, May 5.
It was revealed that herdsmen militia killed the victims on the 21st April, 2022 in their farms at Waya of Yaav Ward, Turan, Kwande LGA.
The attack occured at about 11am on that fateful morning while most of the people were working on their farms.
A source told newsmen that a family of five was wiped out completely including their one year old and three year- old kid in the attack.
