Former Cross River State Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Chairman, Ntufam Ekpo Okon has emerged the flag-bearer of the party for Cross River South Senatorial District.
Ntufam Okon scored 186 votes to defeat Joseph Edet who scored 47 votes.
In a related development, Senator Jarigbe Agom Jarigbe was affirmed as the PDP's candidate for Cross River North Senatorial District.
Senator Agom emerged unopposed.
