The founder of Solid Rock Kingdom Church (SRKC) located at Ibekwe Akpan Nya community in Mkpat Enin Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State, Apostle John Okoriko, who was kidnapped few days ago has been released.
GRASSROOT REPORTERS had reported that the popular radio and television evangelist was whisked away into the nearby bush by unknown gunmen at Mkpat Enin, after shooting into the air.
Our correspondent in Uyo gathered that the 74-year-old pastor was released Friday evening.
It is however, not clear as of press time whether a ransom was paid for his release.
His abductors had demanded N100 million to secure his release but was later reduced to 30 million.
