Drunken Policeman Kills Two, Injures Many While Celebrating Birthday

 

Two persons were killed and two others injured on Sunday night after a drunken policeman on illegal duty fired his gun several times to celebrate a businessman’s birthday.

It was learnt that the incident occurred at La Silva Bar, Gowon Estate, Egbeda in Alimosho area around 9pm.

The policeman allegedly fled the scene after realising what he had done.

A Twitter user, @themannaman, who shared gory videos of the incident, claimed that the policeman wanted to shoot into the air while other guests were spraying money on the birthday businessman but fired at them instead.

He wrote: “The policeman allegedly while drunk wanted to shoot upwards, but accidentally shot at the guests.”

The police command has gone after the policeman and his birthday host said to have gone into hiding.
