SCHOOL OF NURSING, UNIVERSITY OF CALABAR TEACHING HOSPITAL

Admission Into 2022/2023 Academic Session

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the School of Nursing, University of Calabar Teaching Hospital, Calabar for Basic Nursing Training.

Admission Requirements

Intending candidates must posses FIVE (5) CREDITS IN ENGLISH

LANGUAGE, MATHEMATICS, PHYSICS, CHEMISTRY, AND BIOLOGY

AT NOT MORE THAN 2 SITTINGS FROM SSCE OR NECO. 

Only candidates aged between 17-35 years by November, 2022 are eligible to apply.

DURATION OF TRAINING: THREE (3) YEARS

METHOD OF APPLICATION

Application forms are obtainable from the Office of the Principal, School of

Nursing, University of Calabar Teaching Hospital, Moore Road, Calabar from

Monday March, 14th - Friday, May 6th 2022 (Subject to availability).

 A non refundable fee of N16,500 should be paid into UNIVERSITY OF CALABAR TEACHING HOSPITAL SCHOOL FEES/CHARGES ACCOUNT NUMBER (1000187508) through REMITA drawn at any commercial bank. Thereafter, the Remita printout/teller is

exchanged for an official receipt at the UCTH Treasury, Permanent site. The official receipt will then be presented to the Principal, School of Nursing, UCTH along Moore Road for collection of Application form.

CLOSING DATE FOR SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION FORMS

Completed Application Forms with Photocopies of relevant documents are to reach the office of the Principal not later than Friday 6th May, 2022

SELECTION EXAMINATION

ENTRANCE EXAMINATION: Entrance Examination will hold on Saturday 14th May, 2022 at 8:00am prompt.

VENUE: School of Nursing Premises, Moore Road, and UCTH Permanent Site, Calabar.

ORAL INTERVIEW: Oral interview for successful candidates will hold in UCTH Permanent Site on a Date that will be communicated to candidates that pass the written examination only.
