IbomAir, a commercial arline company owned by the Akwa Ibom State government has begun commercial flights to Yenagoa, the Bayelsa State capital.
This was announced hy Governor Udom Emmanuel of Akwa Ibom State.
The governor wrote on Facebook:
"Just yesterday, our Ibom Air commenced commercial flight operation in Yenagoa, the Bayelsa State Capital.
"I congratulate our team for making this possible and I specially thank my colleague Governor Douye Diri for giving our airline a rousing welcome."
