Governor Ben Ayade Of Cross River To Declare For President This Week

 

Barring last minute changes, Cross River State Governor, Prof. Ben Ayade would declare to contest for the office of President of Nigeria this week, GRASSROOT REPORTERS has gathered.

Reliable sources told GRASSROOT REPORTERS that plans has been concluded by the governor to join the race for the top seat, after consulting with President Muhammadu Buhari, this week in Abuja.

The governor is expected to meet with the President tomorrow, January 18th, during which Mr. President would confer him with an award for his giant strides in rice revolution.

Governor Ayade departed for Abuja, weekend, to attend the All Progressives Congress (APC) Governors Forum meeting and also meet with President Buhari.
