In the last one month, no fewer than three bodies have been discovered floating in rivers in parts of Ogoja in Cross River State, throwing residents of the ancient town into fear, GRASSROOT REPORTERS has gathered.
Some of the dead bodies, mostly bodies of young females, had their private parts including tongues and breasts removed, for suspected ritual purposes.
Residents say these killings may have been carried out by suspected Yahoo boys whose numbers in the town keeps increasing everyday.

Paul Ajie, an activist, wrote: "this is one death too many in our precious Ogoja town...
"If any of our youths takes it upon themselves to solve this problem by going after these Yahoo boys, the security agencies will come after them for taking laws into their hands."
Along Igoli-Moniaya Hospital bridge, a decomposing dead body was found floating in the stream.
Last week, there were unconfirmed report of two girls' b*easts growing longer than normal after they were suckled by an Alhaji for a fee of N400,000. The report said these girls later died in an undisclosed hospital.
Residents who spoke with GRASSROOT REPORTERS called on the state government and security agencies to take drastic action to curb the trend.
