C'River 2023 Governorship : More Support For Engr. Ben Akak As Eburutu Bloc Adopts Him As Their Candidate

The governorship ambition of businessman and philanthropist, Engr. Ben Akak received more boosts, weekend, as Eburutu bloc in Odukpani Local Government Area, in an adoption meeting, affirmed and sealed their solidarity support for his candidacy. This is in line with the political activities in the state and beyond for which the Eburutu bloc deemed necessary to choose their preferred candidate in person of Engr. Ben Akak for Cross River State gubernatorial poll come 2023. 


In a motion moved, Engr Ekpenyong Richard Inyang said "we should affirm a total support in spirit, economically, physically, materially, politically and otherwise to our dear brother, Engr Ben Akak to be the next governor of the state."


Also speaking during the meeting, Hon. Godswill Eki, former member of Cross River State House of Assembly, who doubles as the National Coordinator of the bloc said, “we have gathered, we have discussed and we have accepted in one voice and having seen the activities of all the aspirants vying for the governorship seat in the state, the bloc executive unanimously adopts Engr Ben Akak to be the next governor come 2023."


Hon. Eki reiterated that Engr Ben Akak would make the best governor among all the aspirants come 2023.


In addition, Pastor Samuel Edim urged the bloc not to allow any external influence to come in, expressing happiness that the bloc works with like-minds that understand and accept in one voice, hence, their support for Engr. Ben Akak is not negotiable.


Hon. Asako Asako of Idere also added that time is the only enemy to man, urging the bloc to be up and doing in support of their own brother, Engr Ben Akak.


The secretary of the bloc, Hon. Okon added that Engr Ben Akak was adopted because he was different from others.


Hon. Ndiyo Ndiyo, SSA to the Governor on Youth Mobilization, Hon Esuong Uwase, SSA to the Governor on CalaPharm, Hon. Nya Nkwo, Hon. Ayi Bassey, Hon. Helen Ironbar, and a host of others, also spoke at the meeting.
