The governor of Cross River State, Prof. Ben Ayade has approved the appointment of Mr. Akwaji Timothy Ogbang as the new Head of Civil Service in the State, GRASSROOT REPORTERS reports.
A statement by the Secretary to the State Government, Barr. Tina Agbor on Monday, said Mr. Ogbang's appointment takes effect from January 12, 2022.
The new Head of Civil Service, who until his appointment, was the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Climate Change and Forest Resources, will take over from Mrs. Geraldine Akpet-Ekanem, who was appointed on acting capacity in 2020.
