In a bid to synergize and build a bridge between the youths and all arms of government, yesterday, July 8, the Rt. Honourable Speaker of Cross River State Youth Parliament, Rt. Hon. Gideon Mbukpa, led the state Parliament to familiarize with the Chief Judge of Cross River, Honorable Justice Akon Ikpeme in Calabar.
The Chief Judge assured the state Youth Parliament of her support and commitment to Youth development
The visit was also aimed at ensuring the Parliament get the right mentorship in the Judiciary and respect for the rule of law.
Justice Ikpeme commended the Cross River State Youth Parliament for championing the campaign against restiveness, political thuggery, cultism and other social vices, urging the youths of the State to shun these vices.
