The governor of Cross River State, Prof. Ben Ayade has disclosed that President Muhammadu Buhari has agreed to commission some projects undertaken by his administration in Cross River State by September.
The governor listed the state cocoa processing factory in Ikom and a rice milling company as two of the projects that will be inaugurated by the President during the visit.
Governor Ben Ayade, Thursday narrated how President Muhammadu Buhari’s integrity and simplicity lured him into the All Progressives Congress (APC).
He recently dumped the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the ruling APC.
The governor said the President has lived above board in his entire life.
Ayade said: “Buhari has lured me into APC through his simplicity and integrity, a quality that is rare to find in most people.
“For instance, the President has lived in the same house structure for the past 30 years, yet nothing has been added, being a President twice yet living the same house till today and no false acquisition of wealth.”
