Video: CallyAir Finally Arrive Nigeria


 

The long awaited CallyAir, a Boeing 737-300 bombardier aircraft has finally arrived Nigeria, GRASSROOT REPORTERS has gathered.


The aircraft touched down Muritala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos, on Tuesday night.


Owned by the Cross River State government, the commercial airline is expected to begin operations in no distant time.


Onboard the airline was the governor of Cross River State, Prof. Ben Ayade and the airline's crew members.


Cally Air is a proposed Nigerian joint venture to be based at Calabar Airport. The start-up is a joint venture between The Cross River State Government and DANA Group, under a public-private agreement. 

The airline was expected to commence in Nov-2016, with services to Obudu, Lagos and Abuja using the state's Dash 8-200 aircraft.
