The West African Examination Council (WAEC) has announced a new date for the release of the 2020 May/June West African Secondary School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).
According to the Council, the initial plan to release the result yesterday, October 27 was shelved due to the curfew imposed in different parts of the country. It said the result will eventually be released next week.
WAEC said on its Twitter handle:
"WASSCE SC 2020 Results Release Date: Dear candidates, the Council had planned to release the results today in fulfillment of our Project 45 but due to the curfew imposed last week, it had to be postponed till next week."The exact date will be made known soon."
