Nollywood actress, Chacha Eke has said that she has been diagnosed of bipolar disorder, a mental disorder that causes mood swings.
The condition which can be managed but incurable was formerly called manic depression. It causes extreme mood swings that include emotional highs (mania or hypomania) and lows (depression).
Chacha Eke also stated that she didn't quit her marriage because of domestic violence, contrary to claims in some quarters.
In a video she posted on her Instagram page, the beautiful actress said her husband has never laid his hands on her, nor raised his voice at her.
She said she is currently receiving treatment at First Delta American Hospital, Asaba, after undergoing mental examinations.
