A thanksgiving service to mark the birthday of Sen. Prince Otu is set to hold in Calabar.
The event which is put together by friends and associates of the former senator who represented Cross River south in the red Chamber will be held at the Voice of God Mission at 10 Mayne Avenue Street in Calabar.
A statement by the planning committee chairman and secretary, Charles Atu and Ekpenyong Alina said the event is put together to thank God for the life of the senator and to continue to celebrate the ideals and legacies of a man who distinguished himself as a senator and in service to humanity. It said there will be a party at the Zoo Garden Hotel along Mary Slessor road Calabar.
It enjoined all lover of the former federal lawmaker to turn out as well as send congratulatory messages to the Senator.
