Nsadop Community Sec School In Sorry State, Urgent Renovation Needed

Dilapidated classroom
 blocks has become a
home for deadly reptiles
Nsadop Community Secondary School in Boki Local Government Area of Cross River State, the only secondary school serving the people of the community and her neighbours has now become a shadow of itself, and a serious threat to the lives of students and teachers of the school.

A visit to the school would leave one in shock at the level of dilapidation of the school's classroom blocks.

A visit to the school by GRASSROOT REPORTERS shows a total dilapidated structures begging for government intervention.

An indigene of the community, Elvis Besong told GRASSROOT REPORTERS that before the lockdown, students of the school learn under these dilapidated buildings.
"The condition of the school keeps deteriorating. The school has been abandoned for years and it's now very unconducive for teaching and learning. Before the lockdown, the students and teachers manage the buildings, but now, the whole structure has collapsed.

"The students were sitting on bare floors to receive their lessons, in some cases, they sit under trees. I am calling on the state government to urgently reconstruct this school to save the future of these students. This is the same building students currently writing the WAEC examinations are using to write the exams, it's terrible."
