Port Harcourt Electricity Distribution, Plc. has signed a Power Purchase Agreement with Calabar Power Generation Company Limited, a subsidiary of Niger Delta Power Holding Company for evacuation of 100MW from their Odukpani Power Plant to serve customers in Calabar and its environs.
This was made known by MD/CEO of PHED, Dr. Henry Ajagbawa during a one day inspection visit by the Hon. Minister of State for Power, Dr. Goody Jeddy Agba to NDPHC Generation Power at Odukpani yesterday, August 14.
Ajagbawa, who was represented by the Project Lead, Engr.Kingsley Achife explained that the project which is aimed at improving power supply in Calabar will be carried out in two phases, network optimisation and metering.
He therefore, urged its customers to exercise patience while waiting for the actualisation of the projects aimed at improved service delivery by the Company.
