Sequel to the Cross River State government's plan to expedite work at the Calabar Pharmaceutical Company Limited, the Senior Special Assistant to Governor Ben Ayade on CalaPharm, Mr. Esuong Uwase and the Director of Pharmacy, Pastor Dan Michael, on Monday, conducted a team from the Manufacturers' Association of Nigeria (MAN), Cross River and Akwa Ibom State Chapter on equipment inspection at the company in Calabar.
The team which was led by the secretary of the association, Mr. Offiong Eyo Offiong, praised the state Governor, Sen. Prof. Ben Ayade for industrializing Cross River State.
He said"Cross River is now a real industrial based state, it's not fiction for those who still live in uncertainty of the industrial reality of this state".
Mr. Offiong called on all manufacturers in the state to ensure they are registered members of Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN), corroborate the efforts of the Cross River State government by patronizing the state as he pledged to partner with the Calabar Pharmaceutical Company Limited.
The MAN's team leader urged Nigerians to rebirth their credence for made in Nigeria products, adding that it is essential for the growth of our economy.
Speaking , the SSA on CalaPharm, Esuong Uwase assured the team of a good working relationship with the state government to ensure the successful take off of the company.
