Resident Doctor, Dr. Ogar, Emmanuel Idoko Felicitates With Chairman And V'Chairman Of Bekwarra

A resident doctor, Dr Ogar, Emmanuel Idoko has felicitated with the Chairman and Vice Chairman of Bekwarra, Dr Josephat Emeka and Hon. Etako Linda on their landslide victory at the just concluded local government election and subsequent swearing in.

Dr Ogar, a resident doctor in the Department of Family Medicine, University of Calabar Teaching Hospital said their victory is a well-deserved one which every son and daughter of Bekwarra is proud and happy about because of their proven track record in leadership.

This was contained in a congratulatory message to the duo made available to newsmen in Calabar on Sunday.

He said: "We have followed, with keen interest, the great work that you have been involved with, especially the work done in the course of the electioneering process and we are saying: well done for a well deserved victory".

He expressed optimism that the duo would bring great and purposeful leadership and embark on projects that would impact the lives Bekwarra people.

The young medical doctor charged the leaders to revamp the health sector in Bekwarra.

His words: "Let me seize this opportunity to humbly appeal that you kindly endeavor to revamp and revitalize the Bekwarra health care system for the benefit of our people whose mandate you now hold.

"Indeed, Bekwarra LGA is in dire need of a formidable health care system as our people currently have to travel a long distance to have access to healthcare. I strongly believe with your strong desire to leave a lasting legacy, you would work in synergy with the CRS Health Commissioner to improve access to health care in  Bekwarra".

He continued: " I believe in the good works of our Amiable Governor, Prof Sen. Ben Ayade, and I am confident that you will rebrand Bekwarra and take her to a greater height by staying focused and working in synergy with the state government.

"Again, congratulations Mr. Chairman on this achievement and keep going in the future".
