Late Pastor Obike Maduakolam

A popular Calabar/Uyo-based bookseller, Pastor Obike Maduakolam has died.

The late Maduakolam who is well known for combining his book selling skills with jokes, preaching of the gospel of Jesus Christ died on Tuesday.

A Facebook user, Amb. David Akaninyene Eteka broke the shocking news on Wednesday

He wrote: "Pastor Obike Maduakolam is no more! A jovial preacher and businessman.

" What is man that you are mindful of?

"May he rest in peace".

The cause of his death is not known.

Findings by Grassroot Reporters showed that the late Maduakolam was very popular among students of University of Calabar, Cross River University of Technology (CRUTECH), University of Uyo and other higher institutions in Cross River and Akwa Ibom states. He was said to be friendly, jovial and a lover of Christ.
