Late Godwin Akwaji, C'River House Member's Test Result Returned Negative

The test result of late Godwin Akwaji, member representing Obudu State Constituency returned negative.

This was made known by the Cross River State Commissioner for Health, Dr Betta Edu in a chat on Friday.

Hon. Akwaji was suspected to have died from Covid-19 at the University of Calabar Teaching Hospital.

This caused panic in the state. Recall that Cross River State is the only state in Nigeria yet to record any case of the virus.
