Nigerian Senate has proposed a bill to ban/prohibit the importation and use of generating set in the country.
The bill which is sponsored by the Senator representing Niger South Senatorial District, Sen. Bima Enagi (APC) is seeking to prohibit the importation, sales and use of generators in the country.
The bill capped Generating Set (Prohibition/Ban) Bill (SB. 366) was read for the first time on the floor of the Senate on Wednesday.
