Finally, ICPC Arrests Chief Okoi Obono-obla


Former aide to President Muhammadu Buhari, Chief Okoi Obono-obla has been arrested by the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC).

The ICPC spokesman, Rasheeda Okodowa confirmed this to Premium Times on Friday. The paper understands that Chief Obla is undergoing medicals in the facility.

Chief Obla was declared wanted by the agency for allegedly refusing to honour its invitation to answer allegations of corruption and falsification of documents leveled against him. He however denied the allegations, accusing the agency of witch-hunting him.
