Nollywood Actress, Shan George Gets Appointment From C'River Government

Nollywood  actress and movie director, Shan George has been appointed chairman, Callywood (a sobriquet that refers to Calabar film industry) Management Board by the governor of Cross River State, Prof. Ben Ayade.

Shan, who has featured in several Nollywood  movies, including a blockbuster soap opera, "Nnena" has been a staunch supporter of Gov. Ayade.

In a release made available to newsmen in Calabar on Friday and signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Christian Ita, her appointment and that of others who made the list of appointees takes immediate effect.

She joins BBNaija former housemate, Gedoni Ekpata as celebrities from the state to get political appointment. Gedoni was appointed Special Adviser on Garment Factory.
