Dr. Inyang Asibong

The Cross River State Commissioner for Health, Dr. Inyang Asibong has unveiled the maiden quarterly report of the Ministry aptly titled “The Pulse of Paradise” as it captures the activities of the Ministry in the first four years of the Governor Ayade-led administration and the plans for the future.

“This is a detailed report of all our activities in the Ministry between May 2015 and May 2019; it highlights our achievements, updates, merits and demerits, and also gives an overview of our plans for the future. It feels surreal looking back to where we were when it all started and how far we’ve come within such a short time.

The Pulse of Paradise is our scorecard as a Ministry and also a morale booster for every health worker in the State given that it gives credit to everybody who does his/her bit in ensuring a healthy and wealthy Cross River State, starting from His Excellency, Sen. (Prof.) Ben Ayade.” –Dr. Inyang Asibong, Commissioner for Health.

The Commissioner presented a copy of the 134 page journal which has been receiving wide acceptance across the country to the Management Staff of the Ministry and Stakeholders in Health as she looks to further strengthen their synergy and boost supports.

The Commissioner was presented an award by Pan-African Good Governance Council for being among the ten standout appointees of the administration who lived up to their bidding, and she was also made an ambassador of the Council.
