Hon. Oqua who was represented by a member of the LGA Caretaker Committee, SCT. Esuong Uwase, described sport as revenue earner for a country and major source of employment for the youths, thanked the school management for coming up with such a laudable idea. He assured the school of the support of the council in ensuring the school attain greater heights.
Earlier, the Principal of the school, Mrs. Katherine Nkifam Ogar described the students of the school as the 'Joshuas of our time' noting that the school which is barely 2 years old is keying into the sporting agenda of the present administration. He called on the state and LGA council and public spirited individuals to come to the aid of the school as the school lacks basic learning facilities such as computers, library, sporting facilities and electricity.
At the end of competition, Blue House emerged the overall winner followed by White House while Red House came third.
